And despite rumors we’ve heard that Joe doesn’t have a romantic bone in his body, he sure managed to write a tear-jerker letter to his wife-to-be on their wedding day. Melina and Michael’s wedding day was very emotional. They had to plan their wedding around Michael’s schedule with the marines, and even had to postpone their big day by two months. They were married in the small town of Okarche, just outside of Oklahoma City. Prior to their wedding, the one thing we knew about Okarche was that it had a great fried chicken place. (If you’re ever in the area, you definitely want to visit Eischen’s) So we were thrilled when we arrived to find a beautiful old Catholic cathedral with so much history and charm. We really were touched by Melina and Michael’s love for one another, and we hope you are too.
